This year, give a gift of hope and help build a better future for our Haiti orphans.
When doing your Christmas shopping, why not benefit the lives of others in need at the same time? Not only do they add a little light to whomever you give them to, but they help make the world a bit brighter too.
ALL profits from the Frontline Fashion Zanmi Humanity range go to their projects in Haiti. A t-shirt can make a difference!
On Tuesday, 12th January 2010, an earthquake registering 7.0 on the Richter scale hit the island of Haiti in the Caribbean and over 250,000 people were killed in under a minute, with millions instantly losing homes and loved-ones. The Zanmi Project aims to help a community on the outskirts of Haiti’s capital, Port au Prince, by providing a healthy environment in which children and adults can get access to aspects of life that we take for granted: shelter, education, food clothing, medical attention and care. Phase One of this project is focussed around the construction of an orphanage, a dormitory for volunteer workers and a classroom and all contributions will help to rebuild the lives for all associated with this small community
Normality has not been restored in Haiti and the problems associated with the earthquake’s devastation have not gone away. Images and reports of the wreckage no longer make prime-time news bulletins, but the Zanmi Project seeks to remind people that Haiti still needs our help.
In this life we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love – Mother Theresa.
