Guess celebrates 35 years with a visit to Dubai

To commemorate the 35th anniversary of the iconic denim brand GUESS; co-founder and Chief Creative Officer Paul Maricano visited Dubai to celebrate the brands milestone year and unveil its latest campaign, featuring GUESS girl, Hailey Baldwin.

At 42, this is a brand I have grown up with. I remember the iconic images of Claudia Schiffer and Karen Mulder, I had their posters on my wall, I secretly wanted to be them .

My favourite part of the evening was the introduction video that highlighted memorable moments over the past 35 years and celebrated iconic Guess pieces and models. This was incredibly nostalgic for me as it literally is how I remember my life – without the glamour girls of course. I remember going to see Back to the Future with my mum and dad in the cinema, I have a found memory of all the historical events that the video showcased.


The spectacular event kicked off with a catwalk showcase unveiling GUESS’ Spring-Summer 2017 collection, featuring carefree feminine wear and tropical men’s details. The catwalk brought to life the true essence of the brand, with romantic silhouettes, colourful Caribbean patterns and GUESS’ iconic denim pieces. The GUESS anniversary celebrations continued with an exciting set by DJ Lins and exclusive displays of the new collection pieces, including the limited-edition Originals 1981 anniversary capsule collection, and previews of the GUESS campaign videos.
